Wet swimwear between one stop and the next
A small routine to keep moisture, clean clothes and luggage apart.

Before leaving the water area
Prepare somewhere for damp belongings before changing. A dedicated bag keeps swimwear away from documents and dry clothes. It does not need to become permanent storage: its purpose is to cover the journey to somewhere you can sort everything out without rushing.
If the facility provides equipment for swimwear, read the instructions and check that it is suitable for the fabric. Do not use an appliance or accessory without understanding how it works. A personal towel can gently absorb excess water, while you continue to follow the garment’s care instructions.
Find a suitable place in your room
Open the wet bag and check its contents when you arrive. Look for a drying rack, a bathroom line or a support the property allows you to use. Avoid delicate furniture, lamps and electrical appliances: they are not designed as clothes dryers. Ask about available options if there is no suitable space.
Arrange garments without piling them together and expect drying times to vary with moisture and ventilation. Do not assume everything will be dry the following morning. If you plan to swim on consecutive days, consider a second swimsuit instead of making the trip depend on quick drying.
When it is time to leave
Check swimwear before closing the suitcase. If it is still damp, separate it again and remember to open the bag at your next stop. Look around the bathroom before checking out: items hanging behind a door or on an unobtrusive rail are easy to forget.
If the property offers laundry services, ask which garments are accepted and when they are returned. Do not hand over your only swimsuit without knowing whether it will be back before your next booked admission.
The wet bag protects the journey; a suitable space at your accommodation lets you care for the clothes.
